The Nashville Area MPO invites you to participate in a survey of area cyclists being conducted by the Nashville Bicycle & Pedestrian Advisory Committee (BPAC). Nashville’s BPAC is an advisory committee for the Metropolitan Government established by Mayor Karl Dean to promote and encourage safe bicycling and walking.
The results of this survey will be used to help:
  1. Design better bicycling facilities (bike lanes, greenways, etc.);
  2. Improve bike/automobile “share the road” public safety information programs.
You’ll be done in less than 10 minutes — we promise.  :)
Your individual responses will be kept confidential and only used in combination with information from others completing the survey. You’re receiving this invitation because you previously completed an online survey about walking & bicycling in Middle Tennessee, as the MPO was preparing its award-winning Regional Bicycle & Pedestrian Study.
If there are other adults in your household who ride, they’re also invited to take the survey.
A little note on How-To: You must complete the survey in one sitting. If you exit and re-enter at a later time, a new survey starts and your old survey is treated as a separate submission. (This allows participation from several household members who may all be utilizing the same home computer.)

12th South Summer Sports Series premiered this morning with a Halcyon victory over the 12th South Taproom on the basketball court of Sevier Park!

The Taproom should be proud of themselves. They kept it close, but couldn’t keep up with our skills!

The Taproom learned their lesson today. They know not to shoot hoops with us anymore! This time we’ve been challenged to a kickball game. They forgot we ride bikes all the time and have strong legs and can kick the ball 500ft!

Sunday May, 29th 10am Sevier Park baseball diamond. Be there!

Also:

The Monopoly Rapture Edition Alley Cat went down yesterday.

Richard Sprauge won, Nathan Wahlman came in 2nd and Handsome Clint Colbert came in 3rd.

A BBQ broke out afterwards with a packed crowd. 2 strangers on bmx bikes came by and entertained us with some sick tricks! Daniel threw his arm out trying to strike out everybody, but he throws like a girl.

We’ll post some pictures soon!

The Tour De Nash set off with over 700!!!!! riders this morning!
We Sent two of our most handsome mechanics down there to make sure all bikes were up to snuff.
I have to say there were some nice bikes down there.

Thanks to all the sponsors and volunteers for making this happen!

Looking forward to next year!

If you live in Nashville and drink beer, I’m sure you’ve been to the 12th south tap room.  If you haven’t, you drink bad beer. The Tap Room has the best, most often rotated, most enjoyed by our shop beer selection in town. Plus, all the servers are babes!

Even though they have good beer, word on the street is they have no game on the court.

The first of many Halcyon v Taproom summer games will go down on the b-ball court at Sevier Park this Sunday, May22nd at 10am.

Come by and watch us beat them down. We have a 6’7″ guy on our team. Can’t be beat!

She has no game! For real!

Imogene and Willie, your next!

P.s. I heard your pants are too tight…

Spring has a death grip on the Southeast! Cold front after cold front pushes summer back and back! According to WSMV, this Saturday, May 21st, the temp is supposed to climb to 88! To celebrate we’re throwing some food on the grill!

There will be an Alley Cat staring at 2pm at the Parthenon in Centennial. It’s Monopoly themed race. Points will be collected at each check point to determine the winner. I heard those guys are too fat to do a speed race now…

BBQ and “cold drinks” after the race in our parking lot.

I heard this dude will be there.
