One year ago today, we opened Halcyon’s doors to the public. It has been an amazing year and a fantastic start. We pledge to continue to provide the best service and products to you, our friends and customers. Thank you so much for your support in our first year!!!
Come celebrate with us, first this Friday at the Oasis Center, where we will be watching Breaking Away and The Triplets of Belleville (see post below). All proceeds go to the Bike Workshop!
On Saturday, December 12th, we will be throwing a day long birthday party at the shop. Alley Cat race will begin at 2pm in Centennial Park, and will end at the shop, where you will find loads of food, drink, and music provided by guest djs:
Willy T
Whit Smith
Jamin O of JEFF the Brotherhood

Both films are family appropriate. DOUBLE FEATURE DOUBLE RAD!

It’s the greatest day of the year! BLACK FRIDAY! The day where Americans congregate at 3am to battle over whatever item is the must-have. You’d think parents were going to war over this stuff…as if their children would declare rebellion and boycott bathing if they didn’t get what they wanted. Remember Tickle Me Elmo?
Anyway, BLACK FRIDAY! Halcyon will be open, we will be putting up some Christmas decorations, drinking egg nog, and working on bikes. Maybe we won’t have 70% off savings (or will we?….), but we would love to see your consumer driven faces on this day of shop.

We also ask that you consider a personal pledge: to shop locally first this holiday season. Nashville is a pretty rad town, and we are lucky to have many small, local businesses that are unique to our community. By supporting these shops, Halcyon included, you are strengthening our local economy and sharing wealth with your neighbors. Plus, who doesn’t want a bicycle under the tree?
