today we were excited to unpack some awesome cycling caps from cognition caps, a company composed of cyclists who hand make every cap. their wool caps with earflaps (seen above) are especially nice for those cold winter rides.

we want to thank everyone who came out this past saturday and celebrated our grand opening. it was a huge success and we are still recovering. approximately 50 riders participated in the crankmas alley cat race, collecting enough cans to fill a truck bed! bridget from &3 catering served some fine grub, and diarama, weiners, and the mattoid entertained us (and our neighbors, who were kind enough to not call the cops) all evening long.

there are over 500 photos from the event, so as soon as they are edited down, we will do a massive upload for your viewing pleasure.

HALCYON BIKE SHOP’S GRAND OPENING HOLIDAY EXTRAVAGANZA CELEBRATION

SATURDAY DECEMBER 13th

11am-7pm (we will continue celebrating into the night)

1118 Halcyon Ave., Nashville, 37204

Festivities will begin with the Crankmas Alleycat Race, which begins at 2 o’clock sharp in Centennial Park and will END at Halcyon Bike. If you would like to race,

go to Centennial Park before 2pm to sign up.

Bring a bag and $10, as the bike race requires you to go to grocery stores around town

and purchase canned goods, which will be donated after the race!

Winner will receive a golden saddle,

The race will end at Halcyon Bike

Vegetarian food will be served at 3:30 by &3 Catering
